Mary Kaye & The Kaye Sisters

From the beautiful 140 year old ranching community of Escalante, Utah and with tight family harmonies and honest songs about the life they live, Mary Kaye & The Kaye Sisters are helping define the music of the West they love. This group consists of sisters, Emelia, age 17; Sophia, age 20; and their mother, the multiple award winning singer-songwriter, Mary Kaye. The authenticity of their music emerges from a life of raising horses to ranch work to life in one of the most remote places in the Western United States. This trio combines traditional trail songs with fresh, contemporary material, and award winning originals. Mary Kaye & The Kaye Sisters represent a new wave in the genre of western music.

Emelia sings lead with beautiful unique vocals, her sister Sophia plays rhythm guitar and sings harmony, and Mary Kaye rounds out the trio with lead vocals, harmonies, and fingerstyle guitar. Their performances include songs such as "Hired Hand" by Gail Steiger, the traditional "Brazos River Song," and "Tall Men Riding" a poem by S. Omar Barker put to music...in three part harmony. The 2014 Genoa Nevada Cowboy Festival was their debut performance where they received several standing ovations. Since then they have performed at such notable venues as the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering, Eureka Opera House, Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium, and the Utah Arts Festival.
